Nimrod Ensemble originated in Berlin, a vibrant music city, where they made their debut in the Berlin Philharmonic.
The Ensemble consists of 4 top musicians: Christophe Horak, violin (Switzerland, conductor Berlin Philharmonic), Francesca Zappa, viola (Italy, MDR Orchester Leipzig), Nur Ben Shalom, clarinet (Israel, ao. Berliner Philharmoniker, Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, KKL Luzern Festival, …) and Yannick Van de Velde, Piano (Belgium, 1st Prize Virtuoso & Belcanto Competition, Finalist Busoni Competition Italy, …).
In Sint-Niklaas three members will of this Ensemble will present a varied program with violin, clarinet and piano.
Nimrod refers after the famous variation from Elgar's Enigma Variations. He writes this variation for his best friends and the name refers to the origin of this Ensemble.
