Vitaly Samoshko  .

Born in 1973 in Ukraine, Vitaly Samoshko studied piano with Leonid Margarius at the music conservatory in his native city of Kharkiv, and later with the same master at the International Piano Academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola, Italy.

Vitaly Samoshko has won important international prizes, including the 2nd Prize at the Busoni competition in Italy (1993), and in Montreal (1996) and also the 2nd Prize at the A.Rubinstein competition for piano masters in Israel (1998). When he won 1st prize in the Queen Elisabeth Competition for piano in Belgium in 1999, his musical star started to rise and this also marked the start of a worldwide successful solo career. Since then he has performed in more than 25 countries, including the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum and the Steinway Hall in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Beethovenhalle in Bonn, the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, the Okayama Symphony Hall and the Kyoto Concert Hall in Japan and the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires.

He has performed with world-famous orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Tokyo and the New Japan Philharmonic, the Orkest der Beethovenhalle, the Brabant Orchestra, the symphony orchestras of Saint Petersburg, Savannah and RNCM, and the National Orchestra of Belgium, always under the direction of renowned conductors such as Charles Dutoit, Marc Soustrot, Gilbert Varga, George Octors, David Shallon, Louis Langrée and Arthur Fagen.
