Mi-Joo Lee .

Mi-Joo Lee's career immediately got off to a brilliant start in 1 year with no less than 3 (!) to win prizes in 3 well-known competitions: she became a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, Tokyo International Piano Competition and 1st prize at the Viotti Competition in Italy.
Since then she has been a much sought-after soloist worldwide. After PianoFest Sint-Niklaas she immediately takes the plane for a solo concert series in Asia.

At the same time, Mi-Joo Lee is one of the most sought-after pianists in piano competition juries in the world. She was on the jury of the ARD Piano Competition in Germany, Busoni Competition in Italy, San Marino Piano Competition…
She has been teaching at the Universität der Kunste Berlin since 1990 and has given masterclasses in France, Austria, South Korea, Spain… Her students won prizes in many important piano competitions (Queen Elisabeth Competition, Van Cliburn Competition...)

She played concerts in almost all European and Asian countries as well as in America.
She started her studies in Essen, then moved to Berlin, Boston and Salzburg with Guido Agosti and György Sebök. She received the Lilli-Lehmann Medal for her musical career.
