Amelie Dendal .

Amélie Dendal was born in Calcutta, India in 1989 and started playing piano with Annie Trine at the age of 4. At the age of 6 she already won the first prize at the “Grand Concours International de Piano” in Paris.
Amélie achieved success in several competitions, including first prize at the Axion Clazssics Competition, and second prizes at the “Concours International de Piano de l'Euro Region” and the “Concours National Grétry”. She was a finalist at the "Kaufmann European Music" in Brussels, as well as at "EPTA-Belgium" and "les Jeunes Musiciens Competitions".
Amélie Dendal has given recitals in Western Europe and the United States. She was invited to several famous festivals, such as Euroclassical festival, les Nocturenes de Rouen (2013 & 2016) and the International Festival “Minimes” and Saint-Boromée festival in 2014.
Amélie Dendal is very active as a chamber musician. For example, she performed as a soloist with the Orchester de chambre de Wallonie and the orchestra of the Brussels Conseravtorium, where she played under the direction of the Swiss conductor Daniel Klajner.
She also took part in master classes with famous professors such as Peter Eötvös, Adrien Brendel, Victor Rosenbaum and many others.
Amélie Dendal studied with Dr. Daniel Blumenthal at the Conservatory of Brussels and was awarded the first prize “Frison” and “Ollin” for her excellent results in obtaining her Master's degree.
She then continued her education at Indiana University (United States) where she received the prestigious performer's diploma, as well as a special award for outstanding results.
She also studied with Prof. Martin Canin (The Juilliard School) in New York and was a student of Bernd Goetzke (Hochschüle Music Hannovre) at the Academy of Brescia, Italy.
